Episode 26 - Our Basketball
23minThe interhigh quarterfinal between Kaijo and Tôô was finally in the fourth quarter, and the duel between Aomine and Kise was dead even all the way till the last minute of the game. Kise is on the offensive, and Aomine is on the defensive. At last, the moment where their victory or defeat would be finalized arrives...! The Seirin team members, as well as Midorima, Takao, and the rest of the Shutoku team see for themselves the high-level games between the Generation of Miracles and are already thinking about the Winter Cup to come. And Kuroko and Kagami once again vow to join forces and defeat the Generation of Miracles.
Episode 25 - Don't Get the Wrong Idea
23minEven Kise, the genius that can perfectly copy any play he sees once, could not copy Aomine's unique play style. However, in order to beat Aomine, Kise and Kaijo chose to take the challenge of trying to copy him. Kaijo was nine points behind, but it would take some time for Kise's copy to be complete. In the third quarter, Kise quickly approaches Aomine's level at a pace much faster than Momoi expected, but on the other hand, Aomine stands his ground. After feeling team bonding and the trust involved for the first time, Kise's brilliant talent finally awakens!
Episode 24 - I'm Not Mature!
24minThe match between Kaijo and Tôô starts with the duel between Kise and Aomine, both from the Generation of Miracles. Aomine blocks Kise's attack, and Tôô uses that to initiate the first score, but Kaijo fights back with their captain, Kasamatsu, at their core, and the seesaw game continues. Kise seems to be dealt with by Aomine, but after several confrontations, he finally manages to hold off Aomine's attack, and Kaijo ends the first quarter in the lead. However, from the second quarter, Aomine gradually shows his true potential and dominates over Kise to slowly decrease the lead..!
Episode 23 - Tip-off
24minSlightly before now… This is a story of when Ryota Kise, a second year at Teiko Middle School and a current model, first entered the basketball team touted as ever victorious. He quickly moved up to the first-string team, and the frail-looking Kuroko, who hardly seemed to be a first-string player during practice play, was to be his mentor in striving for that regular spot. Even during the trouble that happened during the party in celebration of Kise's promotion to the top team with Kuroko, Midorima, Aomine, Murasakibara, and Momoi in attendance, each shows their skills to lead the problem to a solution––but even here Kuroko doesn't shine. Kise's distrust of Kuroko only grows...
Episode 22 - I'll Win Even if It Kills Me
24minAt the summer camp from hell, Seirin has a joint practice session with Shutoku. Kagami, who was practicing on a separate regimen from the others, strives to better his strong suit of aerial combat but suffers a complete loss against Midorima in that field. However, Kagami clearly saw the reason why he lost against Midorima, as well as what he needed to work on from there. Seeing Kagami like that, Kuroko was striving to find his new style of basketball. Somehow surviving the hell of camp, the Seirin members directly proceed to observing the interhigh games. The game was Kaijo versus Tôô. Two of the Generation of Miracles will clash––the showdown between Kise and Aomine was about to begin!
Episode 21 - Let's Get Started
23minEach wanted to become stronger than now and to combine even greater powers in order to defeat the Generation of Miracles… Kuroko and Kagami's emotions intersect, and the new challenge for the Winter Cup starts. Even Riko's abysmal cooking, which was going to be an issue during their summer camping session, somehow improved thanks to Kagami's coaching. Their summer camp started at the beach. The Seirin members go through the practice from hell, which had three times the normal amount of practice, in order to better the quality of all players' personal movements. On the morning of the second day, they bump into Midorima and the Shutoku High School members at the inn. It turns out they were staying at the same place!
Episode 20 - I Don't Want to Be
24minKiyoshi, joining the team, immediately challenges Kagami to a one-on-one and has Kuroko, Kagami, and the first years play a practice match against someone obviously lacking in skill in comparison… it seemed like he was up to something. Kiyoshi's aim wasn't to make Kagami notice the value of teamwork, as his play style was getting more and more selfish after his loss against Aomine... but to make Kuroko realize the limits of his current style of basketball. But in the meantime, Kuroko asks Hyuga to be removed from the starting lineup...
Episode 19 - On to a New Challenge
24minSeirin suffers a huge loss against Tôô. They try their best for the second game of the league match, but Kuroko lacks spirit after his basketball didn't work against Aomine, and Kagami exits after worsening his foot injury, causing two losses in a row… which ended Seirin's run for the interhigh. However, that was also the beginning for their new battle to aim for the Winter Cup. But the scar Aomine created left discord between Kuroko and Kagami. They can't win as they are now... As each of them are at their wits' end, Kiyoshi, the founder of the Seirin basketball team and their ace, was released from the hospital and was back on the team roster...!
Episode 18 - No!!
24min"Aomine's street-style basketball that ignores all theories proves too much for Seirin to fight. Kagami valiantly holds on, but Aomine easily goes above and beyond to gradually increase their lead. Seirin, with no chance to win if the lead becomes any bigger, finally puts Kuroko on the court and closes the lead again with his pass work. However, since Aomine was on the receiving end of Kuroko's passes more than anyone else back in middle school, he could see Kuroko's passes. He passes all five players after a steal, leaving Seirin in the dust, and tells Kuroko, ""You can't win with your basketball""..."
Episode 17 - You're All Ridiculous
24minWith 30 seconds left in the second quarter, Aomine arrives just as Seirin claws their way back to a 10-point deficit. With one score as his warm-up, Aomine opens up with his superb play, but Kuroko and Kagami fight back, and being toe to toe, they draw the surprise of the crowd. Aomine's motivation rises seeing the Seirin pair as they were more formidable then he imagined, and he shows enthusiasm for the second half. Meanwhile, Seirin decides to save Kuroko for later as his misdirection was starting to weaken and places their bets on a plan where Kagami holds Aomine back. And in the second half, Aomine's full-strength serious mode finally explodes!
Episode 16 - Let's Go
23minAomine has yet to arrive onsite, but the match between Tôô and Seirin begins. Even without Aomine, Tôô shows their national-level strength with personal skills from their players starting with their captain, Imayoshi, but Seirin fights back with their team play. However, with Tôô manager Momoi's overwhelming information-gathering skills and analysis that can decipher not only the present but how much growth can be expected, even combination plays that have never been displayed before are stopped. Momoi tries to shut down Seirin without them able to show their true skills... However, she couldn't fully decipher how the unpredictable Kuroko was going to act!
Episode 15 - Don't Make Me Laugh
23minEven right before the finals league, Aomine, the ace of Tôô Gakuen ditches practice and continues to go at his own pace. Against teammates who are fighting back, their captain, Imayoshi elaborates on Aomine's extraordinary strength and Tôô's style of basketball, which doesn't rely on teamwork. Meanwhile, Kagami, who suffered an utter defeat against Aomine in a one-on-one, hears from Kuroko how Aomine used to enjoy basketball more than anyone else but has since changed. Kagami then swears victory anew for the upcoming match. And finally, the game day arrives... but Aomine is nowhere to be seen on Tôô's bench...
Episode 14 - You Look Just Like Him
23minAfter a fierce battle, Seirin wins over Shutoku and advances into the finals league for the interhigh qualifiers. At the teppan-yaki restaurant that they stopped by on the way home, they bump into Midorima from Shutoku as well as Kise from Kaijo. Kuroko finds a dog, which they decide to all take care of and name it Tetsuya 2go. Their days of training continue towards the finals league. One day, as Kuroko practices in the pool, Momoi, his self-proclaimed girlfriend and manager of Tôô Gakuen, the opponent in the finals league, appears––and Tôô's ace player Aomine of the Generation of Miracles appears before Kagami, who is going through a personal training menu!
Episode 13 - I Believed in You
24minThe finals enter the fourth quarter. Kuroko finally takes to the court, but as expected, Takao stands against him. However, Kuroko had a secret plan to use against Takao. Meanwhile, Kagami's stamina was about to run out. He can only jump two more times before he's at his limit. With everyone injured all over, they finally catch up to a one-possession difference to Shutoku with two minutes left. Will Shutoku leave Seirin in the dust, or will Seirin be hot on their heels? The timeout to determine their destiny... Shutoku decides they will give Midorima the ball for all remaining seconds of the game. Meanwhile, Seirin will also place their bets on Captain Hyuga's three pointers. The outcome of the battle is...!?
Episode 12 - "What Is ""Victory"""
24minNot only can he score from the center line, Midorima is unstoppable as he can make shots from all the way across the court from his own team's basket. By the end of the second quarter, Seirin was down by close to 20 points. As Kuroko watches the game from the bench thanks to Takao shutting down his misdirection, Hyuga and his teammates desperately keep their concentration up to claw against Shutoku but can't quite find the point to break through. Just then, Kagami feels for Kuroko, who hasn't given up at all despite being on the bench and starts to show an overwhelming presence by exploding his innate potential in such a way that he could win by himself, even without relying on Kuroko or his upperclassmen!
Episode 11 - That's Not It
24minSeirin allowed the opponents to score first, but right afterwards, Kagami receives Kuroko's spinning, super-long pass from the end line to return the score. By doing so, Seirin vicariously shuts down Midorima's super-high-projectile three pointers. Upon that, Shutoku changes the player on Kuroko to Takao, who manages to prevent Kuroko and Kagami's combination play from happening––something no one was able to do before. Takao turns out to possess the Eagle Eye and overlooks the entire court with a higher field of vision than the Hawk Eye of Seirin's Iduki, and therefore Kuroko's misdirection didn't work against him..!
Episode 10 - I Can't Have That
24minAs the semifinals against the reigning king, Seiho, draws closer to an end, Kuroko returns to the court. The determination of the second years as upperclassmen, as well as Kuroko and Kagami's respect for the upperclassmen as their juniors, all combine to make every heart on the team act as one to corner Seiho. Meanwhile, Seiho has pride as the king and doesn't take any steps back. The heated battle was won by Seirin with a dramatic finale. After a short break, the finals against Midorima and Shutoku begin. Neither give in even in the opening moments, and the game shows a dead-even battle. Which team will score the first point and gain the advantage in the game...!?
Episode 9 - To Win
24minDuring the semifinals of the interhigh qualifer tournament, Shutoku has so much room to spare that they didn't have to field Midorima, and their advancement to the finals was almost definite. Meanwhlie, Seirin, who is up against the regional king, Seiho, uses Kagami's dunks and Kuroko's passes to end the first quarter in a tie. However, Kagami, who was facing Seiho's tenacious defense racks up his fourth foul during the second quarter. Seirin is now facing their biggest crisis, but the captain, Hyuga, seems very calm and calls for both Kagami and Kuroko's substitution. The eyes of the second-year members of the Seirin team were all filled with determination.
Episode 8 - Now That I Think About It
24minSeirin manages somehow to make it to the semifinals of the interhigh qualifier tournament. Their next opponent is Seiho, a powerhouse school dubbed the King of Tokyo. For the second-year players, including the captain, Hyuga, it is a grudge match since their huge loss against them the year before. To the second years who are determined to overcome their past and win, Kuroko and Kagami feel anew that they want to win. However, from the start of the game, Seiho's overwhelming defensive skills that utilize ancient martial arts prevents them from scoring...
Episode 7 - You'll See Something Amazing
24minKuroko, being treated like a child by Shinkyo's 2-meter-tall player, Papa, makes one steal after another, and manages to score a large lead from the first quarter. The second quarter showcased a direct matchup between Kagami and Papa. Papa was full of spirit, but Kagami overpowers him with even more determination, and Seirin manages to win their first-round match. Meanwhile, Shutoku, led by Midorima of the Generation of Miracles, is going full throttle from their first match. Midorima's never-missing, never-faltering shot that always lands as long as his form isn't broken keeps landing and shows signs of his great condition.
Episode 6 - Let Me Tell You Two Things
22minThe interhigh qualifiers were fast approaching. The biggest rival in the same region was Shutoku, the team that went to the elite eight in the national finals last year and obtained Midorima of the Generation of Miracles. In order to defeat Shutoku at the tournament finals and advance to the finals league, Seirin practices harder than ever before. The second years starting with Hyuga, who fought valiantly coming from s brand-new school last year but missed the ticket to the interhigh by the closest of margins, was full of spirit. They finally start their first round. Seirin's opponent was Shinkyo Gakuen, who pushed their way up to being a powerhouse school with the addition of Papa, the 2-meter-tall student studying abroad from Senegal.
Episode 5 - Your Basketball
24minThe practice match between Seirin and Kaijo ended with a victory for Seirin thanks to Kagami's dramatic buzzer beater. With the joyful Seirin squad behind his back, Kise sheds tears of regret when the number-one shooter from the Generation of Miracles, Shintaro Midorima, currently of Shutoku High School, appears in front of him. He came to scout some data for Seirin as Shutoku was matched up against Seirin for the regional qualifiers, but Midorima shows obvious disdain for the game that ended up being a showcase of one dunk after another, as well as Kuroko's train of thought that led him to an new school wtihout a name for itself. He leaves after stating that it would be impossible for his team to lose against Seirin. Kise, after parting ways with Midorima, heads over to see Kuroko.
Episode 4 - Take Care of the Counterattack!
24minEntering the second quarter, Seirin slowly chips away at their deficit. With the new tag team of Kuroko and Kagami, the number of offensive patterns for the team increases, and even with the genius Kise's high physical talents, Kuroko's play style, which uses his critically low presence, cannot be copied. Kuroko steps off the court due to an accident, but the second-year members starting with the captain, Hyuga, stand up to the challenge. Adding Kuroko's strengths as he returns to the field, they finally manage to tie the game! Just then, Kise's eyes turn a different color than at any point up till then... Will his true strength finally come out into the open!?
Episode 3 - It's Better If I Can't Win
24minThe practice match between Seirin and Kaijo has started. Kaijo's boasting that this is a light adjustment for the regular team members and saving their ace Kise from playing sets the anger of the Seirin squad on fire, and Kagami destroys a goal with his dunk shot. Kise, the genius that can perfectly copy any play he's seen once, copies Kagami's dunk shot right after stepping in. Kagami returns the favor with another dunk, causing a scoring battle similar to two fighters punching without guarding. During a timeout, Kuroko and Kise point out their opponent's faults to their teams...
Episode 2 - I'm Serious
24minKuroko and Kagami recognize each other's skills. Kuroko claims that as the shadow of the light known as Kagami, he will guide Seirin to be the champions of Japan. However, he had his reasons for choosing Seirin High School, a school that was just formed the year before, as opposed to the five guys from the Generation of Miracles who all went to separate powerhouse schools. Meanwhile, Seirin finalizes a practice match against Kaijo High School, where Ryota Kise, one of the Generation of Miracles, entered. As Seirin's team spirit rises, Kise himself shows up on the scene to say hello to Kuroko. Kagami, who can't wait for the game to begin, challenges Kise to a one-on-one duel...
Episode 1 - I Am Kuroko
24minIn spring, the new members of the Seirin High School basketball team are introducing themselves. The captain, Hyuga, and the coach, Riko, are paying attention to Taiga Kagami, the large player who came back from the home of basketball, USA––and Tetsuya Kuroko, who graduated from the absolute king of middle schools, Teiko Middle School. In their minigame, Kagami shows a glimpse of his absolute presence and innate talent. Meanwhile, Kuroko lacks presence to the point where nobody realizes he is there. However, Kuroko uses his lack of presence in the form of misdirection and specializes in invisible pass work––he was the phantom sixth man of Teiko Middle School's Generation of Miracles!
